Located in Napier, a small village about 180 km east of Cape Town, NOBUNTO was founded to create economic opportunities in a region with over 50% unemployment. By employing mainly women from disadvantaged backgrounds, the organization ensures fair wages, ethical practices, and sustainable development for over 18 families.

The word "NOBUNTO" comes from the Sotho language, meaning "For the People," reflecting their commitment to social responsibility and ethical craftsmanship.
