Based in the village of Napier, about 180 km east of Cape Town, NOBUNTO was founded to empower artisans and provide sustainable employment in a region where unemployment rates reach 50%.

By providing stable jobs primarily to women from disadvantaged communities, NOBUNTO supports over 18 families, ensuring fair wages and ethical working conditions. The name "NOBUNTO" comes from the Sotho language, meaning "For the People," reflecting their mission of social, ethical, and environmental responsibility.
