Based in the small village of Napier, about 180 km east of Cape Town, NOBUNTO was founded with the mission to empower artisans and provide sustainable employment in an area where unemployment rates exceed 50%.

By employing primarily women from disadvantaged backgrounds, NOBUNTO ensures fair wages and stable incomes for over 18 families. The name "NOBUNTO" is derived from the Sotho language, meaning "For the People," representing their dedication to ethical and sustainable practices.
